CALL FOR PROPOSALS

Abstract Proposals for the 2027 NMATA Annual Clinical
Symposium, hosted by the RMATA, are being accepted until September 30th!

 

The NMATA/RMATA Annual Clinical Symposium Programming Committee is now accepting proposals for CEU content at the 2027 symposium in Albuquerque, NM, taking place June 4-6! 

 

Submissions will be accepted through September 30, 2026. Proposal review will be ongoing until a full program has been finalized with programming decisions communicated in December, 2026. 

 

The following presentation formats are accepted to consider:

• General session lecture

• Breakout session lecture 

• Hands on learning workshop

• Athletic training student session
   

The duration of each session will be either 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes, including a 10-minute Q&A. 

 

Based on recent survey feedback, the following topics have been requested for future programming:

• Hands-on workshops for manual therapies, new modalities, and emergency management

• Special populations and emerging professional areas (e.g., performing arts, tactical)

• Sports Nutrition (supplements, energy drinks, and recovery considerations)

• Sport psychology

• NIL impacts on athletic healthcare

• Communication styles

• Evaluation of the knee, hip, spine, and shoulder

• Environmental illnesses
