About the RMATA
 

The Rocky Mountain Athletic Trainers’ Association (RMATA) is an independent athletic training association  comprised of athletic trainer associations from Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. The member states additionally represent District 7 of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA). 

 

RMATA Mission

The mission of the Association is to develop and promote the professional practice of athletic training. In doing so the Association shall:

 

(a) Promote the core aspects of the athletic training profession.

 

(b) Educate members on current issues and standards of care.

 

(c) Encourage networking among athletic training professionals.
