Hannah Duszynski, MS, LAT, ATC, attended Ball State University and earned her bachelor’s degree in athletic training in 2019. She continued on to pursue a post-professional master’s degree in athletic training from A.T. Still University and graduated in 2021. Since 2019, Duszynski has worked in the secondary school setting as a full-time athletic trainer in Phoenix, Arizona. In 2022, she earned a graduate certificate from A.T. Still University in sports neurology and concussions. With her background, her primary interest within the secondary school setting and research is to work to improve the quality of concussion care for student athletes by helping them return to the classroom and sports safely. Additionally, she has served as the inaugural District Seven representative for the NATA Early Professionals’ Committee since 2021. In this role, she has helped to develop programs and advocate for early professionals in navigating their early careers. Part of which was helping to create the Emerging and Early Professionals Committee within District 7.

Monica is currently the head athletic trainer at Amphitheater High School in Tucson, Arizona. She graduated with her Master of Athletic Training degree from Texas Tech University Health Science Center and with her Bachelor of Science in Physiology from the University of Arizona.

HannahGrace (or HG as her colleagues call her) is a second-year graduate student at the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) in their Athletic Training program. She received her undergraduate degree in Sports and Exercise Science at UNC as well. During her graduate degree, HannahGrace has worked alongside several high school and collegiate athletic trainers. She is currently doing her year-long clinical immersion in Nashville, Tennessee at a local private school. HannahGrace also sits on the board for the Colorado Athletic Trainer's Association (CATA) as a Student Representative for the state.

Lithany is currently an associate athletic trainer at Xavier College Preparatory High School in Phoenix, AZ. She graduated with her Bachelor’s in Athletic Training with a minor in Psychology from the University of New Mexico in 2022.  She continued her education in St. Louis and completed her Master’s in Rehabilitation Science from Rocky Mountain University of Healthcare Professions in 2024. While in St. Louis she served as the head athletic trainer at a local high school while also working towards the mission of providing healthcare to underserved populations within the city.

Sidney is a second-year graduate student at the University of the Northern Colorado (UNCO) in the Master of Athletic Training Program. She received her undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise Science at UNCO as well. Sidney is a native Coloradan as she was born and raised in Greeley, CO. She still currently lives in Greeley and enjoys going on walks with her dog, sitting on her porch drinking coffee, and reading a good book. She hopes to be a high school athletic trainer within the Northern Colorado area after graduation. She has recently been selected as the Colorado state representative for the Early/Emerging Professionals Committee.

Jose Sandoval De Leon joined the Air Force athletic training staff in August 2024. Sandoval De Leon’s primary assigned sport is football. He did provide interim coverage of men’s soccer and men’s and women’s track and field when he first arrived at USAFA.

 

Prior to his arrival in Colorado Springs, Sandoval De Leon served as an assistant athletic trainer at University of Nevada, Las Vegas working with their football program. Sandoval De Leon has had two internships in the National Football League, first as a summer intern with the Denver Broncos 2021 and as a seasonal intern with the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2022-2023.

 

Originally from Los Angeles, Calif., Sandoval De Leon graduated from the University of Oregon in 2020 with a bachelor of science in human physiology. During his time at Oregon, he was able to work as a student intern with the football team along with various Olympic sports. Sandoval De Leon would go on to continue his athletic training path by graduating in 2022 with his master of athletic training at the University of Utah.

 

He is a BOC certified Athletic Trainer, Licensed by the state of Colorado, and holds a Level 1 Dry Needling designation.Sandoval De Leon resides in Colorado Springs, and enjoys outdoor activities, working out, and hanging out with friends and family.

Sydnee Jensen is currently the athletic trainer at Kelly Walsh High School in Casper, Wy. This is her second year at Kelly Walsh and the first year of her career was spent in Gillette, Wy where she worked with a broad spectrum of athletes ranging from high school to professional indoor football. She graduated in 2022 with her masters in athletic training from Manchester University in Fort Wayne, IN. She also earned her bachelors in exercise science from Manchester while competing in soccer at the collegiate level.

I became a certified athletic trainer in the summer 2021. I am Wyoming born and raised on a farm and ranch. I got my bachelor degree in Exercise Science from Black Hills State University, and I received my Masters degree in Athletic Training from Midland University in Fremont, NE. I have been fortunate to work with many different sports in my short time as a certified athletic trainer. I am currently at the University of Wyoming in Laramie, WY working with the Women's Volleyball team and the Rodeo team, as well as helping other sports as needed. I love the outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
