Michael O'Larey, ATC

Michael O’Larey earned his BA in History Education from Washington State University in 1981 and his MA in Physical Education from Northern Arizona University in 1989.

​

Michael worked at New Mexico State University from 1993-2020 as the Head Athletic Trainer and course instructor.  He worked previously at Tacoma Community College, served as a graduate assistant AT and instructor at Northern Arizona University and as an Assistant Athletic Trainer and instructor at New Mexico State University.

​

He has served the AT profession with distinction in a variety of positions.  Michael served as the RMATA Newsletter Editor in 1993, NMATA Southern Representative from 1994-1998 and again from 2000-2002, the NMATA Practice Board Member/Chair from 2004-2011.  Michael has also served as a presenter at the RMATA Annual Clinical Symposium in 1997 and 2017.
