Lisa Walker is in her 21st year as the Head Athletic Trainer at Springville High School in Springville, Utah. Mrs. Walker has established a dynamic career of professional service serving in a variety of leadership positions. Mrs. Walker served as the Secretary/Treasurer and President of the Utah Athletic Trainers’ Association, two terms as President of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Trainers’ Association and has been an active member of the Utah High School Activities Association Sports Medicine Advisory Council for the last 13 years. Lisa was instrumental in helping to pass several pieces of legislation in Utah including the 2006 Utah Athletic Trainer Licensure Act. Admired by her colleagues for her tireless work ethic, Lisa was the recipient of the 2013 RMATA Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer Award and the 2013 Board of Certification’s Public Advocacy Award.
