Jim Keller, ATC
Jim Keller being a native Coloradan, completed his higher education at Fort Lewis College and Northern Colorado University. He was employed with the Denver Broncos Football Club for ten years before venturing out into the business world to start his own company, Next Level Sports Performance.
Jim became president of the Colorado Athletic Trainers Association in 2018. He was quickly charged with the task of pursuing licensure for Colorado Athletic Trainers. Utilizing a strong CATA Board of Directors, relationships he had with the Athletic Training membership, professional teams, administrators, lobbyists, and Sports Medicine Physicians the 50 year goal was feverishly achieved not once but twice due to sunset legislation.
Jim has always tried to improve the Colorado Athletic Trainers Association, the enhancement of the Athletic Training profession, health care for athletes in their pursuit of activity endeavors. His leadership strategies were able to build, improve, and strengthen relationships with the Colorado High School Activities Association. He facilitated athletic trainers through teamwork, communication, collaboration, and passion. The teamwork collaborated fund raising strategies with the Governmental Affairs committee and local supporters.
Jim’s humble nature has always deferred credit to those individuals around him. He continues to work hard with Next Level Sports Performance in his hometown of Golden Colorado. He continues in his role as Past President and has an active seat on the Sports Medicine Advisory Committee.
Mr. Keller has been invited to speak at NATA, RMATA, CATA, and other clinical symposiums on numerous occasions. He represents athletic trainers with great conviction, passion, integrity, and knowledgeable scientific principles. Jim upholds the standards of the NATA, RMATA and the CATA.
