Dan Dalen, ATC

Graduating from the University of Wyoming in 1989, Dan took his first jobs as an athletic trainer in Texas.  He found his way back to Wyoming in the fall of 2004 to work for Casper College as their Athletic Trainer.  He still currently works for CC as a full-time faculty instructor and continues to have an impact on potential AT students going through their program.

Dan committed thousands of hours to advance the profession of athletic training in the state of Wyoming and throughout the Rocky Mountain region. He served as WyoATA Secretary for one year before taking over as WyoATA President from 2005-2013.  He stepped up to the needs of the state through leadership, mentoring, commitment, and passion. His position on the RMATA BOD was of strong support and consideration of the membership as an advocate for Wyoming.

He was instrumental in the pursuit and accomplishment of licensure in Wyoming. Dan demonstrated distinction and perseverance by using his well-established relationships with state legislators and fellow Wyoming ATs to help pass the bill.

Dan continues to promote the athletic training profession through education, mentorship, and involvement on various committees with dedication and devotion.  He continues to volunteer time to work with Justin Boots Sports Medicine team and Orthopedic Center of the Rockies providing medical care to rodeo athletes.
