Volunteers for the Hero Ride
Markell Straffieri, a former BYU football player is hosting a charity bike event to raise money to help kids and families struggling with medical issues. He needs our help! We are looking for 4-6 medical staff volunteers to help with the event on June 21, from 8:00am to 3:00pm in Heber, UT. Details about the ride can be found at www.HeroRideUtah.com. Attention Utah Secondary School Athletic Trainers:
Have you ever thought, "I wish I had the athletic trainer at _____'s (specific high school) contact information so I could:
a) notify them about one of their athletes who got hurt
b) ask what supplies I should bring to their location
c) ask if a doctor is going to be at a game
We all have! You can help solve this problem by helping us update our information.
Please email Becky Bailey, Chair of the Secondary Schools Committee, at firstname.lastname@example.org with your contact information so we can update the secondary school athletic trainer lists. These list will be posted on both the UATA website under the secondary schools tab as well as on the Utah High School Athletic Associations (UHSAA) website under the sports medicine tab.
What we need to know:
-Full Name with credentials
-email you wish to be contacted through
-phone number you wish to have published
-employer (school, clinic, private, hospital, etc)
Information is password protected on the UATA website but will NOT be protected on the UHSAA website. Please specify is you do not want your information published on the UHSAA website.
