The Dan Libera Memorial Scholarship is dedicated to Dan Libera who was one of Colorado’s great Athletic Training educators. Dan Libera was well known throughout the nation for his enthusiasm and commitment to the profession of Athletic Training. Through his work at the University of Northern Colorado, he was able to pass on these traits to the students who had the privilege to work with him. The CATA wishes to continue this spirit by offering a scholarship to high school students that plan on attending any college or university with an accredited athletic training program.
Scholarship Value: $500.00
Qualifications:
        1.  Applicant must be in their senior year of high school
        2.  Cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 ( 4.0 scale)
        3.  Applicant will be attending a college or university with an accredited athletic training program
        4.  Applicant must be pursuing Athletic Training as a profession

Application deadline: April 1, 2009

The Jim Conboy Memorial scholarship has been dedicated to Jim Conboy, the first athletic trainer in District seven to be inducted into the NATA Hall of Fame. Jim Conboy was the head athletic trainer for the United Stated Air Force Academy for 43 years. Through his work, Jim displayed the qualities and standards that we all strive to achieve as certified athletic trainers. The CATA’s goal is to pass on this quality and commitment to the student athletic trainers in Colorado.
Scholarship value: $500.00
Qualifications:
               1.
  Cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 ( 4.0 scale)
               2.   Freshman to Senior status from any college or university with an accredited athletic training program
               3.   Applicant must be pursuing Athletic Training as a profession.
