Physician Clinical Assistant
Osteopathic Manipulative & Alternative Medicine, LLC (OMAM) is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated certified athletic trainer to support OMAM physician.
Position Summary:
Immediate full time position based in Aurora, with travel to other locations (Denver and DTC). Is responsible for supporting the physician with the day-to-day clinical activities involved with patient care. This includes the following duties: Assist physician and provide patient care/education under physician direction, involved with musculoskeletal evaluations, functional testing, joint mobes, muscle energy, manual therapy, and use of modalities. May also work with developing HEP as well as injury assessment. Will monitor inventory and order medical supplies, act as pharmaceutical sales liaison and modality (DME) Sales Liaison. Verify insurance authorizations have been obtained, reconcile physician’s unbilled appointments/charges. Attend marketing meetings as necessary.
Job Qualifications:
· BA or BS in Athletic Training, Exercise Physiology or Physical Therapy
· Certifications: ATC or PTA
· Preferred: Experience working with Osteopaths and Physicians

On-Call Certified Athletic Trainers (ATC), in Colorado Springs Area
We are establishing a pool of qualified candidates to cover leave of absences for existing full time positions. These are short notice opportunities that will depend on employee availability. Qualified candidates that also have a CSCS certification will first be on the call list as may be able to cover for our CSCS positions as well. These positions can potentially turn into full time status if existing positions open up.
