CATA Members Third Task…

In the past few days I have spoken to both Senator Williams and Representative Riesberg they both have had VERY positive conversations with DORA and some representatives from Governor Ritter’s staff.  They both have told me that we have reasons to be optimistic about SB 24 becoming law.  Each of them have said that the key right now is how much traffic the governor’s office is receiving about SB 24.

Since we “worked deals” with both the physical therapy association and DORA we are pretty sure that the governor’s office is receiving little correspondence against SB 24, which is good.  But we need to be doing our part by creating a LOT of buzz in SUPPORT of SB 24.

Through this week I have sent two tasks to the membership of the CATA:

1.      Letters to Governor Ritter from CATA members in support of SB 24

2.      Letters to Governor Ritter from healthcare professionals in support of SB 24

It is now time for the third task à  Please ask your “satisfied patients” to send letters in support of SB 24.  These letters can be simple one or two paragraph submissions asking that Governor Ritter sign SB 24 into law.

Please have the letters sent to:

The Hon. Bill Ritter Jr.

Governor

State of Colorado

State Capitol Building

Denver, CO  80203

Thanks for all your efforts.

Sincerely,

Chris Mathewson
