Athletic trainers associated with a high school we need your help!  Specifically we need you to ask your school administrators to write letters to Governor Ritter to support SB 24.  What we would like administrators to point out is the need for this legislation.  Please educate your administrators that the state requires a license to teach music, math, social studies etc but nothing to provide medical care to the high school athletes.  State licensure ensures that those individuals working in positions actually are qualified to do so; there is no such control for athletic trainers.

Please make this a priority.  We have less than three weeks before Governor Ritter has to decide on our bill.
