Schooling:
  • Schooling: 1979 Golden High School, 
  • 1984 Bachelor of Arts in Health/Physical Education with Athletic Training Emphasis from University of Northern Colorado, 
  • 1986 Master of Arts  in Athletic Administration with emphasis on High School Athletic Training Curriculum from the University of Northern Colorado.

Place of Work:

  • 1999 to Present Head Certified Athletic Trainer and Teacher of Basic and Advanced Athletic Training classes as well as Adventure/Outdoor Education at Grandview High School. 
  • 1986 to 1999 Head Certified Athletic Trainer and Teacher of Health and Athletic Training Classes at Overland High School.

Favorite Thing About Being an ATC:

  •  Teaching and certifying Student
    Athletic Trainers in CPR, First Aid and advanced level athletic training
    skills and knowledge. 
  • Never being bored with the  evaluation and referral of as many as 500 athletes per season,  while participating in at least 50  sports and helping them return to their sport at the same level of athletic ability that they had before getting injured. 
  • Contributing to and watching so many successful athletes go on to the next level of athletics

Personal Interests:

  • Sprint Triathlons ( Swimming, Cycling, Running)
  • Rock climbing, Climbing Fourteeners in Colorado, 
  • Skiing with Family.
  • Watching 9 yr. old son Grant and 6 yr old daughter Amy grow up.  
  • Going out for dinner with family and friends.
