I have been the head athletic trainer at a high school
for 25 years

I have been a speaker at numerous clinics and
conferences, worked the NCAA Wrestling Championships 4 times, headed a
very strong student athletic trainer program at my school forever, and
been a friend, mentor, and guidance counselor for a lot of trainers
around the country
Favorite
Thing About Being an ATC:
- Seeing them on the field and in the classroom
- It is fun to have gotten close to some of them
- High school sports have been very fun, and I have always felt it may
be where we are needed the most
Personal
Interests:

Kids, high school athletics, and knee
surgeries -- my next, (my 7th), will be my first total knee
replacement.

My driving force has been doing it right, and my
daughter, who has become a fixture at Smoky Hill athletic events
-
I have given my all to be a part of
the program, and only now, I am trying to slow down, and save a little
time for myself.

I haven't met a trout stream I didn't like, or a bike
trip I didn't enjoy

Family is the source of energy, and I really have
tried to keep the balance in perspective. It really is no
contest
