Favorite
Thing About Being an ATC:
- Working with Athletes, whom not only get injured, but for the
most part are very motivated to return, and do return to full
activity. They do not come into the Sports arena to sit the bench, so
they demand of themselves and others all that is necessary to succeed.
- Seeing former injured players return to completion and achieve
success, mostly through their own efforts and dedication, is inspiring
and makes each year a rewarding experience
- Working with fellow Athletic Trainers throughout the various levels
of Athletics and serving them in Organizational Association levels
from the State to The National has been very rewarding.
- Sitting around at meetings sharing the stories of
"Coaches", "Athletes" and "Injuries" are
special memories. There is nothing we have not solved over a
bottle of beverage, shared by colleagues.
Personal
Interests:
- My family, daughters and grandchildren, have given me many proud
moments and giving them guidance and freedom has been my best personal
interest.
- Little time remains each day for fishing, or working in the yard,
but when there is, I enjoy those quiet moments. I set all the
fish back, and hope all the plants grow.
