John Salvatore January 2003

Schooling:
  • Eastern Illinois University, BS 1993

  • University of Northern Colorado, MA 1995

  • University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, teaching license 1999

Place of Work:

  • This is my sixth year as head athletic trainer at Fountain Fort Carson High School
  • I also teach Human Anatomy (basic and advanced) and athletic training.
  • Prior to coming to FFC I worked at Excel Physical Therapy as an ATC and was part of their high school outreach program covering Sierra High School and Fountain Fort Carson High School.

Favorite Thing About Being an ATC:

  • My favorite thing about being an ATC would have to be working with such a dynamic group of individuals, from coaches, student trainers and other ATCs and, of course, athletes with varying levels of ability with unique needs of their own.
  • There is always some new challenge to face or exciting moment to be a part of.

Personal Interests:

  • Most importantly, I enjoy spending time with my wife Stacey and son Joey.
  • Whenever we get the chance we like to go camping and fishing up on our property in the mountains.
  • I also enjoy skiing and four wheeling.
