Schooling:
  • BS in PE from the University of Colorado-Boulder
  • MS in PE for the Handicapped from Southern
    Connecticut State
  • Internship in Athletic Training at Denver University

Place of work:

  • Skyview High School--1972 to Present

Favorite thing about being an ATC:

  • I like working with the high school student-athletes. They're  young, full of energy, enthusiastic and they help you look at life differently and with their great sense of humor. The reassurance in an injured athlete's
eyes when I'm helping them, reminds me of why I enjoy this field of athletic training.

  • There is much satisfaction in knowing that you do make a difference in their lives; both on and off the field.

Leisure activities:

  • golf, gardening, reading fiction (Clusser, Ludlum
and Clancy) refinishing furniture and any type of physical fitness activities.
