Cindy Morris  July 2001

Schooling:
  • BS from Kent State University, Kent, Ohio (Dec. 97)  Physical Education, K-12; Minor:  Secondary Education & Athletic Training

Work:

  • Overland High School from '98- present
  • Head Athletic Trainer
  • My first year I substitute taught and was and assistant trainer
  • I currently teach Health, Athletic Training, & Sociology of Sport

Favorite thing about being an ATC:

  • My favorite thing about being an ATC is working with the high school student, helping them return 100%, and, as a teacher, seeing them outside the athletic realm. It's exciting to talk to them about college choices, athletics, and life choices.

Personal Interests:

  • Being with my brothers and their families, golf,
anything in the mountains, hiking 14teeners, and training for a marathon.
  • The marathon is to raise money for the American Diabetes Association. 65% of all proceeds goes directly to the Association, the rest  pays for coaches, staffing, and the trip to Dublin, Ireland (to run the actual marathon). This event will help raise money for every Diabetic Athlete we have all worked with. If you would like to donate (TAX DEDUCTIBLE), please send me an e-mail.
Thank you in advance for your support.
