Schooling:

- Masters Degree from the University of Northern Colorado - 1994
Place of
Work:
- I have been employed at Widefield High School in Colorado Springs
since 1986.
- I teach classes in Athletic Training and Health along with the
athletic training responsibilities after school.
- I have also worked the Air Force Academy summer sports camps for the
past 13 years.
Favorite
Thing About Being an ATC:
- I enjoy being able to help people get through a difficult time
following an injury.
- Many young athletes think
injuries are the end of the world, but seeing them get back on the
field is a benefit many professions can't offer.
- I have also enjoyed seeing
seven former student trainers of mine continue in college and then
become ATCs.
- Teaching in the classroom and in the athletic training room provides
a great sense of satisfaction for me
Personal
Interests:
- I enjoy spending time with my wife Nancy and my two sons Mathew(7)
and Cameron (5).
- When I'm not at sporting events at the high school, I am watching my
sons participate in sports.
- We enjoy water
sports during the summer and sledding /skiing in the winter.
