Bob Tim October 2001

Schooling:
  • Bachelors Degree from the University of Nebraska - 1986
  • Masters Degree from the University of Northern Colorado - 1994

Place of Work:

  • I have been employed at Widefield High School in Colorado Springs since 1986.
  • I teach classes in Athletic Training and Health along with the athletic training responsibilities after school.
  • I have also worked the Air Force Academy summer sports camps for the past 13 years.

Favorite Thing About Being an ATC:

  •  I enjoy being able to help people get through a difficult time following an injury.
  • Many young athletes think
injuries are the end of the world, but seeing them get back on the field is a benefit many professions can't offer.
  • I have also enjoyed seeing
seven former student trainers of mine continue in college and then become ATCs.
  • Teaching in the classroom and in the athletic training room provides a great sense of satisfaction for me

Personal Interests:

  • I enjoy spending time with my wife Nancy and my two sons Mathew(7) and Cameron (5).
  • When I'm not at sporting events at the high school, I am watching my sons participate in sports.
  • We enjoy water
sports during the summer and sledding /skiing in the winter.
