I am sad to announce that the CATA board of directors has accepted the resignation of two long time servants to OUR association.
Bob Timm has resigned as the state Public Relations committee chair. He has served in the role for several years and done a TREMENDOUS job. Bob thought it was time for some new leadership with new ideas and approaches to the tasks at hand.
Connie Larsen has resigned as treasurer of the CATA effective December 1st. Connie has served in several roles in her years at the CATA, most recently as treasurer for the past three and a half years. She too felt it was time to pass the torch.
The CATA board of directors thanks both Connie and Bob for their commitment and service to OUR association, we are a STRONG association due to their service.
While it always sad to announce that people are leaving our team it is nice to know that the CATA has several members who are interested in serving OUR association. On Sunday, October 29th the CATA board met and appointed Kevin Margarucci as the Public Relations Committee Chair and Chris Nagelhout as treasurer. Both of these individuals have been active members in the CATA and were happy to step into larger roles.
Again I thank Connie and Bob for their years of service to OUR association.

Dear CATA Member,
My name is Kevin Margarucci and I have recently been appointed as the new Chair for the Public Relations Committee. I have served on this committee for the past 4 years and my goal is to maintain the great job Bob Timm has done in the past. I am writing to you all to solicit any members who might be interested in serving on this committee. We need representation from around the state to make our efforts 100% successful.
I am very proud of this profession as I know many of you are. Please step forward and help so we can put Athletic Training out there for all to see. Thank you.
