Today the Colorado
House accepted the Senate amendments to HB 1127 and re-passed the bill 54-10.
The next step is the Governor’s desk. Governor Owens can either sign into law
our bill, take no action on our bill and it becomes law ten days later or he can
veto it. With the extreme back log of bills hitting the Governor’s desk these
days, our lobbyist Charlie Hebeler, says that we might not have an “official
action” for some days.
We are very close to achieving our goal of state licensure for athletic
trainers.
