On Friday May 26th, Governor Owens vetoed HB
1127.

I truly had hoped to not have to write this e-mail. But it is a three step
process, house, senate, and governor. We went 2 for 3.
As far as what is next? I can’t say.
The CATA Board of Directors will “de-brief” and evaluate the situation.
We NEED to hear from EVERY member of the CATA as to what our members would like
to do. Licensure for athletic trainers will affect EVERY member of OUR
association and we need to know what EACH of you think.
